Tingalpa State School – French Bilingual Teacher - French Australian Bilingual Program

Tingalpa State School is a state primary school located approximately 13km east of the Brisbane CBD. In 2015, Tingalpa State School commenced a French Australian Bilingual Program. We require a French teacher to work in the French Australian Bilingual Program, the class will complete a harmonised French-Australian curriculum. The class will complete up to 80% of their instruction in French, and will be also be supported by an English teacher.

Applicants for this position must:
•         Full registration or eligibility for full registration as a teacher in Queensland with the Queensland College of Teachers
•         Have training and/or experience teaching the early years
•         Be fluent in both French and English languages
•         Have strong interpersonal skills and a proven ability to work collaboratively with colleagues to maximise outcomes for students
• Have experience teaching French in a Primary school.
