Our Digital Learning Device Model
Tingalpa State School prides itself in providing students with modern learning opportunities. Our school's Digital Learning Model details the resources that Tingalpa State School provides for its students.
Each classroom is fitted with an interactive projector. These are used by both teachers and students for modelling and sharing of curriculum items and work samples.
Server, switches, wireless access points, data cabling and 600Mbps bandwidth ensure successful use of devices across the school.
Prep to Year 2
Within the lower school, we have a 1:4 ratio school-based iPad model. This includes:
- Prep – Year 2 iPads (6 iPads per class)
Year 3 to 6
- Transitioning to the 1:1 device program across Yr 3 to 6, starting with Year 3 and 4 in 2026, moving with students through to Year 6.
- During the transition period, until all year levels are part of the iPad program, shared school laptops will be used in Year 5 and 6
Details of the 1:1 device program will be shared with new families joining Tingalpa State School during the enrolment process.
